About Us
We are a Wesleyan Methodist Church which was planted approximately 22 years ago in the rapidly expanding northern fringe of Brisbane. Starting in a garage the church was soon forced to move to the Narangba Community Hall. After a further time of growth we moved to the Narangba State High School. The church got together here for some time and saw continuous growth.
In 2009 Graham and Vicki decided it was time to step down as leaders of the church and called Jake & Tilla Gerber with their children from South Africa to pastor the Church. We currently meet at the Narangba Valley State School on the corner of Young Rd and Creekside Dve, Narangba.
Lifebuilders has now expanded, running 2 services on a Sunday morning. We have an Afrikaans service starting at 8.30am and the English service at 10am.
Our church family is a group of people that includes the full age spectrum, with a solid senior’s base and a growing number of young families with many under school aged children. We have active children’s, youth and senior’s ministry, a substantial Life group ministry as well as a vibrant Community Care program. We also have an accredited Bible Training Center that assist different churches in Queensland with students doing their Cert IV in Christian Ministry and ministerial theological studies.
Our Sunday services are characterized by casual contemporary style of music with occasional use of hymns, a time of prayer, some personal sharing, preaching and great morning tea's.
Whether you're looking to discover what Christianity is about, wanting to re-discover the truths of the Bible or you just want to check us out, we look forward to having you over for a visit.
